Transatlantic Business after the U.S. Midterm Elections
The midterm elections on November 3, 2026, could cause a shift in the balance of power in Washington and influence the future direction of U.S. policy as well as transatlantic trade and investment. Given the close ties between the Bavarian and U.S. economy. The outcome holds significant interest for businesses on both sides of the Atlantic.
Join us on Thursday, November 5, 2026, as we analyze the election results, examine the economic footprint of Bavarian businesses in the United States, and discuss the outlook for transatlantic economic relations. The event will feature business representatives, policy makers and researchers.
The event will take place at hbw | Haus der Bayerischen Wirtschaft in Munich and will be livestreamed online. While most of the program will be in German, simultaneous translation into English will be provided throughout the evening.
